GENERAL INFORMATION

Our company, which is a family company, took its place in the Turkish industry with a small turning workshop that Mustafa Saka established in Karabük in 1955.
Shortly after, in 1956, a small hot rolling mill, employing twelve people, started producing rebar.

The company, which started to be managed under the name of Mustafa Saka Varisleri after his death in 1968, was transformed into a Joint Stock Company in 1989 and took the name SAKA DEMIR CELIK TICARET VE SANAYI A.S..

• 1987 - In addition to the hot rolling mill, the cold drawing unit was put into operation.
• 1988 - Production of manufacturing steel products has started.
• 1989 - The current production method was abandoned and sandblasting machines started to be used.
• 1991 - All units of cutting and grinding have been commissioned.
• 1995 - Peeled and straightening - polishing unit was commissioned.
• 1999 - The additional building built to expand the production area was put into use.
• 2003 - Our quality control unit was established and our product quality was raised to the highest level with the ISO quality assurance system.
• 2004 - 4 crushing groups, the first unit of our hot rolling mill, were added.

• 2005 - Within the scope of new investments, the second additional building was put into use in order to increase the existing capacity. The production of thin cold drawn products was started with a fully automatic and sandblasted thin section coil drawing machine
• 2007 - New product types (hot and cold flat bar, etc.), raw material diameter increase, natural gas and furnace automation systems, quality and capacity increases were realized. .
• 2011 - Production of crack-controlled automat and other products was started with a fully automatic and sandblasted thick section coil drawing machine.
• 2012 - The platform part of our hot rolling mill has been modernized.
• 2013 - Production of rounds (shafts) and hexagons that have been specially cut, chamfered, straightened-polished or hexagonal straightening has been started.
• 2015 - New continuous groups and other additional and automation systems were put into service. Thus, more capacity, quality, variety, serial and technological production was started.
• 2019 - Additional investments were made for quality control and laboratory.
• 2020 - In addition, new grinding machines were purchased.
• 2021 - Barcode system was introduced.
• 2021 - Investments and modernizations of hot and cold rolling mills continued.
• 2022 - Revision and expansion studies were carried out in our existing warehouses.
• 2022 - In addition, our new warehouse was built.
• 2022 - Additional machinery and equipment investments were made for the workshop.
